GTA Online business profit calculator

Pick your upgrades, sale location and property, and this page works out full-stock value, dollars per hour, and how many hours it takes each business to pay for itself. Every cost, production time and sale value below is sourced — nothing here is a guess.

Data sources & disclaimer

All figures were checked on 2026-09-08 against theGTA Wiki and cross-checked secondary guides — full source links are listed under each calculator below. Where a number could not be confirmed (or sources disagreed), the business or that specific figure was left out rather than estimated; see the notes under each section.

This page assumes supplies are kept continuously stocked and upgrades stay active — it estimates a theoretical maximum, not a guaranteed result. Where a business's economy data only distinguishes "how many upgrades are active" rather than which specific upgrade, one upgrade active uses that business's middle production tier and both upgrades active use its top tier.

The unupgraded (0-upgrade) production time per unit could not be confirmed from a primary source, so that tier is omitted — only the one-upgrade and fully-upgraded tiers are shown.

"Far" sale = selling in Los Santos: a confirmed +50% premium over selling in Blaine County.

Each active upgrade adds a daily running fee ($800 Equipment / $1,000 Staff / $700 Security) on top of registered-business overheads. Not included in the payback math below.

Nightclub goods profit

The Nightclub doesn't produce its own stock — technicians passively accumulate crates of goods matching other businesses' product types, up to 5 warehouse floors of storage. Pick a goods type below to see its profit per hour.

The Equipment upgrade that doubles crate production speed has a cost that could only be weakly sourced (a single secondary aggregator), so it is not included as a purchasable cost here — only its confirmed effect (halving production time) is used.

Warehouse floor purchase costs and their exact per-floor capacity split were not confirmed from a primary source, so this calculator shows per-crate $/hour by goods type rather than a full-warehouse payback figure.

Tony Prince takes a money-laundering cut of 10% of each sale, capped at $100,000 per sale.

Agency Safe passive income

Passive income comes from the Agency Safe, which fills automatically as you complete Security Contracts — a different, separate mission type from Payphone Hits. Payphone Hits do not add to this rate and are not modeled here.

The safe's accrual rate rises by $500 per 48-real-world-minute "in-game day" for every 5 Security Contracts completed, capping at $20,000 per in-game day after 200 contracts. The starting rate before any contracts is not reliably confirmed, so this calculator assumes $0 until your first 5 contracts.
