Last checked against Rockstar's official GTA VI site:
Short answer: GTA 6's two leads are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Rockstar has published official profiles for eight characters in all — Jason, Lucia, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder (checked October 28, 2026).
Everything here comes from Rockstar's own character pages, summarised in our words with short quotes marked. No leaks, no fan theories, and no actor names, because Rockstar has not published any.
Only connections stated in Rockstar's profiles are shown. A character with none listed may still meet the leads in the game.
When an easy score goes wrong, Jason and Lucia end up in a criminal conspiracy that spreads across the state of Leonida, and have to rely on each other to get out alive. (Rockstar's GTA VI site) The game is out on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Rockstar's story summary: when an easy score goes wrong, the two of them are caught up in a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida and have to rely on each other to get out alive.
Eight have official profiles on Rockstar's GTA VI site: Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, Brian Heder. Real Dimez is a duo (Bae-Luxe and Roxy), and Brian's wife Lori is mentioned but has no profile of her own.
Lucia Caminos is one of the two leads. Rockstar says her father taught her to fight as a child, that fighting for her family put her in Leonida Penitentiary, and that she wants the better life her mother has dreamed of since they lived in Liberty City.
Jason Duval is the other lead. Rockstar says he grew up around criminals, served in the Army, and now works for drug runners in the Leonida Keys while living rent-free in a property owned by Brian Heder.
Rockstar's official character pages present Jason and Lucia as two leads whose story is told together, but they do not explain whether or how you switch between them. Treat any detailed claim about switching as unconfirmed until launch on November 19, 2026.
Rockstar's official character pages do not name the actors (checked October 28, 2026). Names circulating online are not confirmed by Rockstar.
Rockstar's profile says Lucia's mother has dreamed of a good life "since their days in Liberty City", so Lucia and her mother lived there before Leonida. It does not say she was born there.
