Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1
The first look at the game: its title, the state of Leonida and Vice City as the setting.
Released a day earlier than planned. Rockstar had announced it for Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9 a.m. ET, and put it up on the evening of December 4 after it leaked online.
Gave a release window of 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That window later moved twice, to the current date of November 19, 2026.
Footage: Rockstar's description does not say how it was captured.
Music: "Love Is A Long Road" by Tom Petty.
“Coming 2025 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.” — Rockstar
Its description carries the story summary Rockstar still uses: Jason and Lucia, an easy score that goes wrong, and a criminal conspiracy across Leonida.
Came out four days after Rockstar's first delay (May 2, 2025), which moved the game from 2025 to May 26, 2026.
The first video Rockstar describes as captured in-game on PS5.
Footage: Captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5, half gameplay and half cutscenes, per Rockstar.
Music: "Hot Together" by The Pointer Sisters.
“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them.” — Rockstar
The longest official look at the game so far, at almost 27 minutes.
Premiered on Netflix first, on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3 p.m. ET, then went up on Rockstar's YouTube channel and GTA VI site at 9 p.m. ET the same day.
Rockstar announced it on August 6, 2026 with a 26-second teaser; the video's description repeats the November 19 date.
Footage: Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, per Rockstar.
Music: no song listed in Rockstar's description.
“The biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.” — Rockstar
Three: Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025) and the Launch Trailer (October 15, 2026). Rockstar also released "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look", a 26:49 video of in-game footage, on August 27, 2026.
